2024 Initial Certification Exam Cycle Dates

Early Bird Application Window (Price: $1,250):
February 12 - April 30, 2024

Regular Application Window (Price: $1,350):
May 1 - July 1, 2024

Final Application Window (Price: $1,450):
July 2 - July 31, 2024

Examination Window: February 20 - September 24, 2024

Last Day to Schedule Exam: September 10, 2024

2024 Withdrawal Policy: Candidates have 30 days after they apply to withdraw and receive a full refund minus a $250 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued if a candidate cancels after 30 days from their application date. A refund will not be issued if a candidate has already taken the examination. The initial application fee includes a digital copy of HMDCB's Expanded Content Blueprint. Discounts are available for employers who certify multiple physicians. To learn more, visit this page of our website.
